• Appoint the project team, including architect, town planner and design consultant team
• Work with commercial team to develop construction programming and sequencing
• Work with cost planning team, monitor budgets and undertake value engineering when necessary

• Experience managing the acquisition of residential and mixed use sites
• Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise work effectively and drive a development programme.
• Excellent communicator (both written and verbal)

We have an exciting new opening for a Senior Town Planner to join a leading housebuilder in the Hertfordshire area. Being one of the biggest developers in the market in the London area my client mainly specialises in mixed used and residential developments.
To be considered for this position you will need to have knowledge of working on large schemes in the London area whilst being up to date with the planning system.
We are looking for candidates who are looking for a new Senior Town Planner opportunity to have around 5 years' experience and to be a member of the RTPI. We are looking for candidates to have come from a client side background / private sector.
Your day to day duties will consist of the following:-
Preparing planning applications, statements and managing budgets
Working on major large scheme projects
Attending site visits
