Health & Safety Consultant / Senior Health & Safety Consultant (CDM / Principal Designer) to join a growing consultancy supporting clients across a range of construction and development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional to provide practical advice and guidance to clients and project teams, helping to manage risk, improve standards and support the safe delivery of projects. Working across a variety of sectors, you will collaborate with clients, designers, contractors and other project stakeholders on projects including commercial, residential, infrastructure, refurbishment and specialist developments. This role would suit a Health & Safety professional looking to expand their consultancy experience, develop their CDM and Principal Designer expertise, or take the next step in their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. The Role Provide Health & Safety and CDM 2015 advice to clients, designers and project teams. Support Principal Designer duties and design risk management activities. Review and assess health and safety documentation, including pre-construction information and construction phase plans. Undertake site inspections, audits and monitoring visits. Prepare clear reports, identifying risks and providing practical recommendations. Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and project stakeholders. Support tender submissions and contribute to the continued development of the service. Qualifications NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent). IOSH membership or working towards professional membership (TechIOSH, GradIOSH or equivalent). Experience Experience providing Health & Safety advice within construction or the wider built environment. A good understanding of CDM Regulations 2015 and Principal Designer responsibilities. Experience undertaking inspections, audits and producing professional reports. Strong communication, organisational and IT skills. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
