You'll manage multiple projects, handle variations, prepare valuations and final accounts, and present monthly cost analysis. Essentially, you'll be the unsung hero of construction - quietly saving projects from chaos only a QS truly understands. Daily battles a QS will recognise: Variations arriving for things you already priced - again. Convincing a subcontractor their creative interpretation doesn't match the plan. Calculating final accounts while keeping a straight face through impossible client requests. Managing multiple screaming projects at once - and somehow making it look effortless. We're looking for someone who: Has Tier 1 or regional contractor experience and fancies switching lanes. Understands high-end residential refurb / fit-out, where close enough is never enough. Can manage valuations, final accounts, and variations with precision - and occasionally a wry smile. Can keep architects, clients, and subcontractors onside without losing their mind (or humour).
