Role Purpose;
* To work with the build commercial director to form an effective team for managing the successful delivery of the project, leading the MEP commercial team in maximising the commercial performance of the MEP Stream through the implementation of the commercial strategy and targets developed by the Business Streams Leadership Team/ Project Steering Group and Project Directorship.

What you'll be doing
As a/an Commercial Manager, you will have the following accountabilities:
* Reporting to a Senior Commercial Manager or Commercial Lead and Project Manager within the MEH Alliance EPM Commercial Organisation.
* The Commercial Manager will typically be responsible for a contract(s) between 0- 100m in value subject to level of risk or complexity.
* The day-to-day management of Commercial Assistants and Commercial Apprentices under their control.
* Providing support to the procurement process during the Procurement & execution phase (pre & post award).
* Providing commercial management for the delivery of contract final account agreements (close out).
* Interfacing with Legal team on conditions of contract issues.
* Providing support to the Senior Commercial Manager / Commercial Lead in ensuring all internal governance approval is in place to enable timely Contract Award.
* Providing support to the SCM / CL with contract negotiations to ensure best value for the HPC project through the procurement process.
* Participating in the contract kick-off meeting and organising the commercial section of the meeting.
* Managing Supplier / Contractor commercial relationships.
* Implementing progress and cost management, preparation of contract specific
progress reports and reporting and participating in periodic contract reviews.
* Leading contract commercial reviews and attending progress reviews where
necessary.

Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
* Educated to relevant degree level is preferable.
* Able to demonstrate a noteworthy track record of administering successful contracts.
* Effective commercial / contract management skills are essential, with clear knowledge of best practice contract methodologies.
* Good commercial skills and ability to make sound decisions on matters of financial

* Understanding of contract performance measurement, risk management and change and claim management.
* Good negotiating, influencing and communication skills to command professional

What you'll be doing
As a/an Commercial Manager, you will have the following accountabilities:
* Reporting to a Senior Commercial Manager or Commercial Lead and Project Manager within the MEH Alliance EPM Commercial Organisation.
* The Commercial Manager will typically be responsible for a contract(s) between 0- 100m in value subject to level of risk or complexity.
* The day-to-day management of Commercial Assistants and Commercial Apprentices under their control.
* Providing support to the procurement process during the Procurement & execution phase (pre & post award).
* Providing commercial management for the delivery of contract final account agreements (close out).
* Interfacing with Legal team on conditions of contract issues.
* Providing support to the Senior Commercial Manager / Commercial Lead in ensuring all internal governance approval is in place to enable timely Contract Award.
* Providing support to the SCM / CL with contract negotiations to ensure best value for the HPC project through the procurement process.
* Participating in the contract kick-off meeting and organising the commercial section of the meeting.
* Managing Supplier / Contractor commercial relationships.
* Implementing progress and cost management, preparation of contract specific
progress reports and reporting and participating in periodic contract reviews.
* Leading contract commercial reviews and attending progress reviews where
necessary.
* Maintaining contract commercial files and cost records
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
* Educated to relevant degree level is preferable.
* Able to demonstrate a noteworthy track record of administering successful contracts.
* Effective commercial / contract management skills are essential, with clear knowledge of best practice contract methodologies.
* Good commercial skills and ability to make sound decisions on matters of financial
value.
* Understanding of contract performance measurement, risk management and change and claim management.
* Good negotiating, influencing and communication skills to command professional
respect at all levels.
* Familiarity with most common Forms of Contract (NEC & FIDIC) within the power construction industry and major projects and programme environment; with particular knowledge of UK Law and its impact upon the contract and commercial
function is essential.
* Familiar with the nuclear site licence conditions and the nuclear baseline philosophy

The Digital Marketing Manager is an essential part of the team with Digital playing a big part in the Marketing Plan and will require creativity to demonstrate our growing capability and product / technology offering across our digital platforms. The role also requires an analytical focus to understand our digital performance and to use this data to continuously improve and develop the website, email campaigns, internal website and social media.
The Role
Working with the marketing team to support with the following:
1. Web
* Develop and enhance the Group website to reflect our growing capability and product / technology offering.
* Manage and work with website agencies to optimise design to enhance user experience and grow sales opportunities via the website.
* Work with SEO and PPC agencies to optimise the website presence and grow the key terms to generate sales.
* Support with the design and development of new websites within the group, and develop organic and paid for growth for these websites
* Analyse performance data of internal website for employees
* Develop new ideas to enhance our internal website
2. Email
* Support the marketing team with their business unit email campaigns
* Develop ideas and advise the marketing team on how to improve open and click rates
3. Social
* Work with communications team to maximise content posted on social media
* Develop and monitor advertising campaigns to promote content to target audiences
* Build on existing outreach activity
4. Creativity
* Create and develop new ways to promote the Vital Energi brand to our target markets online
The Person
Skills/Experience:
* A level / GCSE English Language at Grade A or above
* Demonstrable experience working in a digital role
* Confident in writing engaging content for a variety of platforms
* Possess a solid understanding of effective marketing techniques
* Experience with social media platforms
* Experience in using CMS systems to upload and manage website content
