As a Senior Quantity Surveyor focusing on change management, the candidate will be an integral part a particular section located within the Wendover and South Heath area. The successful candidate will develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers, manage the commercial team in procurement activities.
The selected candidate would expect to work closely with the operations team for the identification and control of change management through design, 3rd parties and construction constraints. Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Change Management
Location: Wendover/South Heath
Rate: £400 p/d - £450 p/d
Start Date: ASAP
Are you looking to be part of one of the biggest Railway Infrastructure projects in the UK? Do you have experience in Change Management? Do you have heavy civil engineering experienced? If yes, then this is the opportunity for you!
This is an amazing opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor, who has experience in Change Management, to embark on a huge billion pound project under a major tier 1 contractor.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor focusing on change management, the candidate will be an integral part a particular section located within the Wendover and South Heath area. The successful candidate will develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers, manage the commercial team in procurement activities.
The selected candidate would expect to work closely with the operations team for the identification and control of change management through design, 3rd parties and construction constraints. Notifying change events accordingly through the contract and negotiate agreements of both principle and quantum with the client.
The scope of works include 80km of new track, 17 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 75 overbridges and 24 million cubic metres of excavation!
Requirements:
Experience with Change Management, both principle and quantum.
Extensive understanding and experience working on NEC contracts
Experience working on major projects under a tier 1 contractor
Preferably experience in heavy civil engineering.
Member of a relevant professional institution (CICES, RICS etc)
