Main purpose of post To be responsible for the effective and efficient inspection of accommodation provided by the Council to those in housing need in order to ensure compliance with safety requirements and monitor standards of repairs and maintenance Responsibilities Responsible for the inspection of accommodation units as required, ensuring that they meet with required standard and are free of hazards under Housing Health and Safety Rating System, liaising with Environmental Health Officers as required.
