This reputable company cover the South West, Midlands and London are a multidisciplinary consultancy company providing predominantly building surveys, refurbishments and dilapidations of both residential and commercial projects.
They are going through a phase of expansion and looking to bring on a Quantity Surveyor to help manage their increasing workload across the South of England.
In this role you will have flexible working options between the Bristol office, working from home and site visits. Sites are located mainly within London, Bristol and the South Coast and are of commercial projects, largely cladding reinforcement. You will initially be the sole Quantity Surveyor in the team at this office alongside a few Building Surveyors, however with the company growth plans the team will look to expand. Using your Quantity Surveying experience you will be completing valuations, variations, cost analysis, budgeting and reports of the projects ranging from £3m to £20m. There will be an element of project management on which you will be trained.

Developing relationships with key clients.
Researching materials, equipment and labour costs.
Gathering quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers.
Negotiating improved supplier prices.
Assessing the levels of risk on a project.
Preparing and submitting quotations for work.

The Person:
It is likely you will have previously worked as either an Estimator,Senior Estimator,Commercial Manager,Quantity Surveyor,
Assistant Estimator or Trainee Estimator in a similar house building environment.
What you will have:
Experience with some or all of the following:
Single Ply roofing systems
Zinc Roofing / Cladding
Green / Sedium roofing
Liquid waterproofing systems
Built up felt roofing
Fall arrest systems
Architectural balustrades / handrails
