Department: Health, Safety & Wellbeing Company: Canary Wharf Management Limited Reporting to: Director - Health, Safety & Wellbeing JOB SUMMARY To act as the lead competent person in implementation and management of the company processes and procedures under the Building Safety Act 2022 and to protect the interests, business, assets and wellbeing of Canary Wharf Group, its tenants, employees, and the general public from harm and risk to their health, safety and welfare. Under the Building Safety Act 2022 there are numerous new requirements placed against the organisation which we could be prosecuted against if we fail to deliver. This role will provide strategic leadership and assurance to the organisation that we are meeting our statutory obligations under the new Act. Attend meetings with clients with Fund leads and support in the preparation of slide decks to increase sustainability awareness and engagement.
Carry out funds quarterly ESG actions by engaging with experts across the team to ensure timely delivery of client deliverables.
Work with wider team to monitor changes in legislation and best practice to ensure continuing legal compliance and best practice in the UK.
