This role will involve close collaboration with the design, estimating, and project delivery teams to ensure all designs are accurate, coordinated and compliant with current standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for metal roofing, cladding, rainscreen and fa ade systems. Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create fabrication and installation details. Coordinate with engineers, architects, suppliers and site teams to ensure designs are practical and fully integrated. Prepare fabrication drawings, BOMs and CNC data where required. Maintain drawing registers, manage revisions and ensure document control procedures are followed. Contribute to design reviews, offering technical input to improve efficiency and build quality. Support the tendering and pre-construction process with layout drawings and concept visuals. Adhere to company and industry standards including fire-safety, building regulations and manufacturer specifications. Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure designs align with approved system details. The Ideal Candidate Essential: Previous experience as a CAD Designer or CAD Technician within the roofing, cladding or fa ade sector. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and ideally some experience with Revit or similar 3D software. Good technical understanding of metal cladding, rainscreen and flat roofing systems. Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret architectural and structural documentation. Effective communicator, able to coordinate between office, site and external partners.
