As a Site Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that all external and energy efficiency upgrades including cladding installations, insulation, window and door replacements, roofing, and associated building fabric improvements are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of energy performance and compliance across the Barnsley area. Working closely with Contracts Managers, Resident Liaison Officers (RLOs), and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and with minimal disruption to residents. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate day-to-day site operations on multiple external and SHDF retrofit projects throughout the Barnsley area Supervise trades and subcontractors carrying out cladding, insulation, window/door replacements, roofing, and other energy efficiency-related works. Ensure all works meet SHDF requirements, building regulations, and energy performance standards (e.g., PAS 2035, EPC targets, etc.). Maintain site health & safety compliance, carrying out regular inspections and toolbox talks. Liaise with Resident Liaison Officers to communicate works and minimise disruption to tenants. Carry out pre-start meetings, progress reports, and handover inspections. Monitor quality, productivity, and materials use against programme and budget targets.
