Health & Safety Officer (Dublin)

Health & Safety Officer - Dublin Our client one of Ireland’s leading building contractors is currently recruiting for the role of Health & Safety Officer for projects in Dublin City. Roles & Responsibilities: * Work closely with the Site Safety Management Team. * Carrying out inspections and manage and carry out a Proactive Compliance Monitoring Programme to ensure all legislation is met with a high standard. * Oversee development of policies/programs and to monitor and maintain effective up to date records in relation to Health, Safety and Compliance regularly. * Investigate and manage reports and file them accordingly through the reporting system such as accidents and incidents. * Deal with any health & safety issues that may arise in an efficient and effective way with a professional attitude. * Ensuring the Site Emergency Plan & Procedures are all up to date. * To provide any advice to other staff/team members on relevant information when it may be required. Skills & Experience: * 3rd level Health & Safety related degree with 3+ years’ experience within a Construction sector H&S role * Excellent verbal and written Communication skills. * Confident in the use of Microsoft Office. * Ability to work well in a team and respond to any actions that may be required. * Ability to hold high standards and levels of confidentiality. * Previous experience in carrying out audits and Health & Safety inspections
