Operations Director

Excellent opportunity for an Operations Director to work for a very well regarded main contractor who operates across UK. Currently on the search for an Operations Director to work within a company that has a very good name in the market based on quality of work reputation, strong client relationships, continual work winning in all sectors and for being a firm that employees rarely leave. My client has a strong pipeline across commercial, life science, R&D, healthcare and leisure therefore they are looking for a great leader to grow teams, tender work, be the main point of contact for big clients and be the catalyst to the company's success in the area. My client already has various live projects plus a few in tender that this Operations Director will manage but they will be brought in to play a key part in developing this further. This main contractor is in very good shape for 2023 hence they feel it is the right time to bring on an additional Operations Director to grow the business. This will be a very rewarding role not only financially but you will be representing a tier one business in one of their most important divisions, you will have a lot of autonomy and would be a very important part to their company as a whole. The ideal Operations Director will have a track record in delivering multiple complex and varying projects in health/life sciences. This will be an Operations Director who can lead and articulate the commercial performance of the project as well as the operational. This person will be good at business development and have a way with clients, someone who can manage the bids and support the development of new clients, This role will offer a lot of support with experienced Project Directors reporting into you while the Operations Director would report into the board.
