Core Group are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity within a growing construction company for the role of Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will have refurbishment and new builds experience, be qualified within Quantity Surveying, have excellent IT skills, hold a clean driving licence and have proven experience in similar surveying/estimating role. The role: To work within the Main Contracts Division supporting the management team and with the opportunity to make a real difference in this key position. Responsbilities:  Previous experience across a range of work streams including refurbishment and new builds contract.  Budgeting and estimating from first principles.  Proven ability to minimise cost, and to maximise value and cashflow.  A working knowledge of standard forms of contracts.  Supplier and subcontractor engagement  Cost reporting and final accounting.  Dynamic approach to working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
