Senior Quantity Surveyor

Matchtech are excited to be working alongside a major Highways and Civils client in both Somerset & Wiltshire, and as result we have a live opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor. Our client are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a temporary basis, to work within their Highways Term Maintenance contract in North Somerset and Wiltshire. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be part of our Commercial team who are responsible for the successful commercial delivery of Highways Maintenance Works on the North Somerset Highways contract. The contract is with North Somerset County Council with an annual turnover of c.£10m. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor your duties & responsibilities will be: Project Cost Control, change control, risk review, applications and final accounting Supporting site team to correctly implement the contract and advise on issues with commercial impact Experience Required Extensive knowledge of MS software Appropriate Quantity Surveying Qualification / professional affiliation Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts, in particular Option A Excellent knowledge of the Method of Measurement Ability to negotiate Record of successful project delivery This role is Inside of IR35 (pay rate needs to be Paye or Umbrella) and Hybrid Working is on offer
