Quantity Surveyor/ Junior Quantity Surveyor

My client is looking for a Junior or Standard Level Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role based within Newcastle and Surrounding Areas. Experience within the Civils and Groundworks Sector essential. Projects include the housing sector, working roads and sewers, plot work, pre-cast concrete, attentuation systems, finishing works etc. All aspects of groundworks. Salary is dependent on experience. Duties include job costing, pricing, providing live up to date cost on live sites. Must be able to work from costing to final account independently. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Civils and Construction. Previous experience working on projects within the Civil Sector and in a similar industry preferable. Responsibilities: Overseeing the measurement and preparation of valuations Preparing and agreeing interm valuations and final accounts Recoring, monitoring and reviewing the financial performance of contracts Managing financial accounts and report to the client on the project performance Securing payments from customes within the specified contract terms Subcontract procurement and management of subcontractor accounts Benefits: Casual Dress Company events Company Pension On-site parking If interested, please text Grace on (phone number removed) or email over your CV
