Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a local main contractor based in Greater South London who are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on their current residential projects, typically medium sized residential new builds. They have a strong pipeline with well established client relationships. This role will be predominately site based with occasional site visits. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Commercial Director and have the ability to manage your own projects from inception through to completion. Key Skills/ Responsibilities: Quantity Surveyor * Good understanding of building technology and construction processes * Accurately forecasting and cost planning within residential projects * Managing project activities including scheduling and take-offs. * Prepare subcontract tender packages, evaluations & comparisons * Managing subcontractor and supplier relationships. * Organised, with good time management skills and the ability to meet deadline * Monthly CV'R.
