Job Description
Our client is one of the UK's leading fit-out/refurbishment contractors offering build, fit-out, refurbishment and design solution.
They are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor in Derbyshire to join their growing team. Your main duties will be to support a fast-moving Project Team in a professional manner and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors and other suppliers on an on-going basis. You will also require to visit sites when necessary.
Job description:
Analysis of client tender and specification documents.
Costing of work of all sizes fit out, construction and specialist services.
Breakdown of key joinery and building packages.
Packaging, tendering and analysis of sub-contractor packages.
Supplier negotiation.
Materials research, procurement and supply.
Attend client tender meetings.
Prepare budgets.
Prepare and finalise tender documents and presentations with the Commercial Team.
Produce project programmes for tender submissions.What can they give to you?
