General Foreman

Position – General Foreman Based: Cornwall Reporting to: Project Manager Client: Established Civil Engineering company that covers projects to a wide range of clients in both the public sector and the private sector, throughout theUK. Work on a variety of RC/infrastructure projects ranging from £500k to 20 Million in value. Key Areas of Responsibility - Manage and develop junior members of the team - Assist the Project Manager / Site Agents with site records, risk assessments, method statements and permits as appropriate - Communicate with trades staff and allocate works - Record ‘as built’ information for Health & Safety File Skills and Ability - Applicants will have a proven record of working on civil engineering projects including earthworks, deep drainage, highways and infrastructure - Applicants should hold a CSCS card and have at least 5 years site experience. - Excellent communications skills are essential, as is the ability to work under their own initiative. - Must have been working as a General Forman within a infrastructure company - SMSTS and First Aid will be an advantage - A full driving licence is essential
