Site Manager

Contract Scotland are currently working with an exciting contractor specialising in fit-out and refurbishment projects based in Edinburgh to recruit for a Site Manager to add to their team due to a continued increase in workload. In the current market, Site Management is not an easy job and our client know this. Maybe you are looking for the opportunity to have tighter control on your workforce on site? Our client can manage projects throughout the lifecycle from design stages, through production, delivery and successful completion. Carrying a strong contingent of in-house trades and in possession of manufacturing facilities and a strong, close-knit team they are set up to put their Site Managers in the strongest position to succeed in delivering their projects on time, on budget, to high standard and (hopefully!) with minimal hassle. With a pool of secure, clients that they garner high volumes of repeat business from, their general geographic remit tends to cover East/Central Scotland and managers are rarely required to work away from home. With forecasts for workload into 2023 looking strong now is an excellent time to come on board! So, do you fit the bill? Our client are looking for candidates that can demonstrate the following criteria: • Demonstrable track record of delivering high spec fit out/refurbishment projects • A keen eye for detail • A strong ethos on H&S standards and compliance • The ability to work well as part of a team • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to management - we want to see some oomph'! • The motivation to continue developing and learning in order to progress • Effective communication skills - both verbal and written • A client facing, professional manner • Current and valid SMSTS, CSCS (ideally Black, Gold or White) & First Aid In addition to your base salary, the successful candidate will also have access to a company vehicle and private healthcare.
