Estimator – Cladding & Roofing Job Title: Estimator – Cladding & Roofing Industry Sector: Senior Estimator, Estimator, Composite Panel, Rain Screen, Cladding, Facades, Roofing, Timber Cladding, Tensile Fabric, Brick Slip, Asbestos Over-Clads, Stone Cladding, Vinyl Cladding, Steel Cladding, Aluminium Cladding, Glazing, Roofing Location: Portsmouth (within commuting distance) Remuneration: £45,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience) + discretionary bonus Benefits: company car + full benefits package The role of the Estimator – Cladding & Roofing will involve: * Estimator position dealing with various cladding and flat roofing systems; rain screen, built up, metal sheeting, timber, metal profile, brick slips, bitumen felt, liquid applied, single ply, slates & tiles * Producing accurate estimates for projects * Review full tender packages and ensure they’re accurate * Follow up on quotations to successfully convert project * Produce final official quotes once everything is agreed between both parties * Build and develop relationships with clients to encourage repeat business * Will have to attend site to carry out surveys * Attending occasion client meetings where required * Working on projects varying in value from £250,000 to circa £5m The ideal applicant will be Estimator – Cladding & Roofing with: * Must have estimating experience within the cladding / façade / building envelope industry * Ideally will have refurbishment experience * Must be an outgoing character who will be an integral part of the team * High levels of organisation and excellent time management * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Excellent analytical and numerical skills * Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness Mitchell Maguire is a specialist construction recruitment consultancy, dealing exclusively with construction jobs, construction vacancies and specification positions within: Estimator, Estimates, Composite Panel, Rain Screen, Cladding, Facades, Roofing, Timber Cladding, Tensile Fabric, Brick Slip, Asbestos Over-Clads, Stone Cladding, Vinyl Cladding, Steel Cladding, Aluminium Cladding, Glazing, Roofing
