Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Adhering to Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality controls
* Providing a maintenance service (Routine and Breakdown) for fixed plant and equipment
* Carrying out repairs, recommending modifications and eliminating causes to improve plant/equipment performance
* Implementing a preventative maintenance program for plants in area of responsibility
* Carrying out routine maintenance and fault finding
* Providing support as part of a team
* Ensuring adequate stock levels of critical spares and consumables
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
* Possess mechanical and fabrication / welding skills.
* Trained to use Oxy Gas equipment
* Full driving license - company van provided
* Plant maintenance experience with sound diagnostic skills
* Reliable, flexible, and hard working
* Experience or knowledge of the concrete/construction industry
* Self-motivated, committed, enthusiastic and able to use own initiative
* Good communication skills
SALARY / SHIFT
* £35,000 per year
* Some flexibility in hours but core are 07:00 to 17:00 Mon to Fri (may finish earlier or be required to work a little later depending on workloads)
