Electrical Control and Instrumentation Design Manager Preston Area Permanent One of our main clients has an urgent requirement for an Electrical Control and Instrumentation Design Manager to be based out of their facility in the Prestonarea on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join an exciting engineering company who are rapidly expanding across the UK. As Electrical Control and Instrumentation Design Manager you will work closely with the Engineering Manager to maximise productivity and quality, develop staff and improve processes. Your activites should span across the following key areas such as Engineering Productivity & Quality, Employee Development, Continual Improvement, Line Management You will also be responsible for undertaking the following design related activities: Technically Responsible Person Role, Design Tasks and Tendering Tasks My client would be keen to speak to candidates with the following expertise: Skills/Experience/Qualifications The role is generally associated with a specific discipline such as Electrical, Control or Instrumentation Ideally you will have had responsibility for a variety of diverse projects or activities ranging in both size and complexity, an ability and desire to support, motivate and develop others and sufficient knowledge, interpersonal skills and communication skills to attract respect and exert influence within the assigned group of staff Ideally you will be Degree, HND, Higher Apprenticeship in a related discipline Chartered Engineer (CEng)
