Electrical Estimator

A medium sized electrical contractor are actively looking to recruit an intermediate level Electrical Estimator. All applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience within electrical estimating and hold the relevant electrical qualifications. You should be a self motivated individual who is keen to progress there career within Role and responsibilities include - Read & understand specifications and drawings. • Preparation of Tender Cost Reports. • Assisting with vetting incoming tenders/offers from supply chain and ensuring that the most viable offer is included within the submission • Assisting with preparation and issue of supplier enquiry packages. • Arranging and chairing tender adjudication meetings and explaining to the attendees the project preparation and issue of sub-contract enquiry packages. • Produce bills of quantities, schedules of work and contractors’ proposal documents to support bids. • Duration, costing approach and risks to the business • Liaise with Engineers, Sub-contractors, Suppliers, and the Client to establish the project specification, preliminary requirements, risk provision
