Senior Ecologist

Job Title: Ecology Director (Environmental) Location: Homebased/Kent Position: Permanent Salary: Up to £80,000 Benefits: Company Car, Pension and Healthcare Autograph recruiting are working with a fantastic new client who specialise in Agriculture, Ecology and the Environment. The company who are based in Kent are a subsidiary of a large well known successful environmental consultancy and they are looking for a Director of Ecology to lead and expand and develop the team. The business specialises in agricultural and construction projects across the UK and project values can be anything up £4M with a fantastic client list. As a Ecology Director you will be responsible for expanding the current team, managing new and existing client relationships delivering ecological and agricultural contacts both pre and post contract on all development schemes. You will also be leading site teams and making sure all compliance and SHEQ procedures are adhered to. Ideally you will have knowledge of Reptiles and protected species mitigation and management. The current management team are ambitious, motivated and driven to move this business forward and they are looking for an experienced Leader with passion and a good work ethic as the role may not always be 9 to 5 and overnight stays will be required. The role reports into the Managing Director who offers continual support and a flexible working week and it will be your diary to manage.
