Assistant/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

My client are a growing construction company who work on largescale projects across education, healthcare and residential sectors. They are looking for a Junior/Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Ireland! In return they are offering: * Competitive salary * 31 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) increasing to 34 with service * Healthcare * Pension Scheme * Remote working * Life Assurance Their ideal candidate will have: * Be happy to work site based in the Mallow area. * Previous experience managing the commercial aspect of a new build project. * Happy to work on projects at preconstruction stage supporting the Estimator. * A background working for a main contractor. * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to identify potential commercial issues. * The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. * Strong problem solving skills. Duties will include: * Working alongside a Senior QS on site. * Site measures. * Procuring materials and subcontractors. * Attending project progress meetings with clients and Project Managers. * Managing subcontractor payments, variations and producing cost reports. * Identifying commercial risks To apply for this role please submit a copy of your CV.
