Contract Scotland are recruiting for a well-established contractor. With a strong pipeline of work, you will be based in their Aberdeen office, working alongside the commercial team.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be expected to control company expenditure, measure progress, submit valuations, submit final accounts & retention, release & monitor receipt of payment in a timely manner in accordance with the company contracts. You will also be involved in commercial management, credit control management, the recovery of money from the organisation's clients, the control of all expenditure, reconciling cost/value reports & profit forecasts, the preparation of invoices & applications to clients, and the organisations procurement/surveying processes. You will also report to senior management.

Requirements:
• Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Problem solver who takes ownership of tasks and sees them through
• Work Independently or as part of a team
• Can work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written & communication skills
• Good commercial awareness
