Contracts Manager – Cladding & Facades Job Title: Contracts Manager – Cladding & Facades Industry Sector: Contracts Manager, Composite Panel, Rain Screen, Cladding, Facades, Roofing, Timber Cladding, Tensile Fabric, Brick Slip, Asbestos Over-Clads, Stone Cladding, Vinyl Cladding, Steel Cladding, Aluminium Cladding, Glazing, Roofing Location: Portsmouth (within commuting distance) Remuneration: £60,000 – £100,000 (depending on experience) + project related bonus Benefits: Company Car + full benefits package The role of the Contracts Manager – Cladding & Facades will involve: * Contracts Manager position dealing with various cladding and flat roofing systems; rain screen, built up, metal sheeting, timber, metal profile, brick slips, bitumen felt, liquid applied, single ply, slates & tiles * Managing all aspects of: surveying, financial, contractual, programming/planning, leadership and communication * Having ultimate control over the delivery of multiple complex projects with values up to £6m * Support with pre-contract planning liaising with Bid Managers & Estimators * Assisting with the preparation of quality bids, pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), and other presentations as required * Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation * Responsible for accepting, approving, and issuing contracts and subcontracts * Managing all projects are completed on time and within budget * Responsible for providing accurate information for regional monthly appraisals and various other reports The ideal applicant will be Contracts Manager – Cladding & Facades with: * Must have Contracts Management experience within the construction industry, ideally from a cladding / façade / building envelope * Ideally will have refurbishment experience * Must be confident in resolving any project related issues in a professional manor * Must be an outgoing character who will be an integral part of the team * IT literate in Microsoft Office * Good attention to detail * Good numeracy and literacy skills * Effective time management and organisational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Mitchell Maguire is a specialist construction management recruitment consultancy, dealing exclusively with construction management jobs, construction management vacancies and specification positions within: Contracts Manager, Composite Panel, Rain Screen, Cladding, Facades, Roofing, Timber Cladding, Tensile Fabric, Brick Slip, Asbestos Over-Clads, Stone Cladding, Vinyl Cladding, Steel Cladding, Aluminium Cladding, Glazing, Roofing
