The roles would suit either an experienced Shuttering Carpenter or a candidate with any experience working with timber. Candidates who can read and work to CAD drawings will have a considerable advantage. Applicants from a construction background are encouraged to apply. Working alongside 8 in the carpentry team, you will be responsible for producing timber moulds and shuttering for concrete castings. The role will predominantly involve measuring and cutting of timber using a variety of tools and machines. Full training will be provided if necessary. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a trainee or experienced Shuttering Carpenter to work for a well-established and successful manufacturer who offer both technical and managerial progression for the successful candidate. The Shuttering Carpenter Role: *Following CAD drawings to produce timber moulds for precast concrete components *Using a variety of woodworking tools/machinery *Full training can be provided *Days Based role with occasional overtime opportunities The Shuttering Carpenter: *Can either be an experienced carpenter or a trainee – salary will be dependent on experience *Ideally transfer from a construction background
