HGV Driver

HGV Delivery Driver We are recruiting a HGV Driver for a builders merhchant based in Wallingford. Excellent company to work for and the necessary training will be given where required. You will have: IPAF experience (preferred) Experience as a multi-drop delivery driverWe are looking for candidates who show a "can do" attitude and demonstrate a high level of customer care/service who wish to support the team working within our transport department. The workload can be busy and successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate flexibility in their working patterns to support the business need of the organisation. Successful applicants will be expected to: Drive company vehicles to deliver products to customers within our trading area. Gain knowledge of loading/unloading practices to ensure deliveries are carried out efficiently, meeting customers' expectations. Provide excellent customer service to all customers. Communicate effectively with all departments to maintain a high standard of service. Maintain vehicles in a satisfactory and safe condition. Take responsibility for deliveries and notifying colleagues when issues occur. Carry out various driving/delivery duties required to assist with the smooth delivery to customers. Work alongside all colleagues to provide excellent customer service. Demonstrate awareness of Health & Safety, Manual Handling, and all other legislative requirements
