HR Manager | Thurrock (Site Based) | Up to £55K | Manufacturing
Our client is looking to recruit an HR Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Based on site you will recommend suitable people solutions to your business unit - calling on specialist support when necessary.
As the first point of contact for all matters pertaining to human resources, cultures, and people development, HR plays an important role in the business operation; supporting its goals and delivering a sustained performance.
About the role
As an internal consultant, develop and execute HR strategies and people plans that support business goals as well as drive sustained business performance in close collaboration with senior managers and directors in the business.
Develop learning and development plans with senior leaders to improve performance, capabilities, and wider talent development for the business.
Conduct and advise the review and implementation of any organizational restructure, providing insight into the broader business strategy and unit objectives.
Support and develop business leaders in the identification of talent. Assist in the creation of action plans to assist in retaining and developing high potential employees, and with the business, develop clear and comprehensive succession plans.
Providing guidance and oversight on complex employee relations issues - including referrals where needed to experts - as well as overseeing, coaching, and supporting managers with performance management.
Provide advice, guidance, and support to employees on all HR disciplines and policies to ensure HR practices are consistent.
About you
Successful experience in change management and in supporting the growth of a fast-paced organisation such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, logistics or engineering.
Strong commercial acumen with excellent questioning and analytical skills
High level of initiative and attention to detail, with a creative approach to problem solving.
Broad knowledge of employment law
Clear understanding and adoption of best practice principles
High degree of drive, energy, self-confidence, and commitment to getting the job done.
Excellent record of achievement resolving difficult casework problems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
