Health and Safety Manager
An exciting position has become available for a full-time, experienced Health and Safety Coordinator based in Preston; PR4. The successful candidate will earn £38,000 - £40,000 per year depending on the level of experience.
The successful candidate will be capable of bridging the gap between management and site operatives in order to implement safe systems of work and ensure that these are carried out effectively.
Role Requirements
Minimum requirement is NEBOSH that has been held for at least 3 years and evidence of ongoing CPD.
A driving licence with less than 6 points is essential
An understanding of CDM regulations would be an advantage.
The role is primarily focused on the health and safety of the employees but a good construction background would be helpful in understanding identifying potential risks that can arise on site and applying safe working practices.
Role Responsibilities
The role would also require the person to take responsibility for the company accreditations and keep these maintained.
Travel to site for training, audits and inspection will be required.
Development and training of the site teams.
Improvements to the existing system and processes.

Our client is the North of England’s specialist provider in the remediation of oil contaminated residential properties. This includes removing contaminated soils, brickwork, internal floors, underpinning, installing new DPC, re-building brick works and blockwork, patch plastering, drainage, etc.
