Job Description
We are working with a mid-size, dynamic studio producing thoughtful and sustainable projects in its own neighbourhood and beyond. They design and deliver a wide range of building types, including affordable housing, private residential projects, offices and commercial spaces, mixed-use, cultural and leisure. As a team they create bespoke, functional, sustainable and beautiful architecture.
They are looking for a technically proficient and experienced Architectural Assistant Part 2, with at least two years' UK experience or a recently qualified Architect to engage with all design and technical aspects of the projects on stages 0-3 and ultimately focusing on RIBA stages 4-7. Each project is delivered by a smaller team within the larger studio with each member being of equal importance, so this is a great chance to get a good amount of responsibility and grow your career within a supportive environment in a studio providing a happy working environment, nurturing the professional development of their team.
You will have:
Experience working on medium to high-end residential projects for end users.
Outstanding design, technical design and detailing skills with ability to articulate high-quality and detailed schemes, thinking and working directly using ArchiCAD ideally (training available for the right project / experience background).
Previous projects expereince through all RIBA stages, including production and coordination of all project drawings and information would be beneficial.
Previous studio experience in delivering tender and construction packages.
Excellent and current knowledge of UK Building regulations.
Previous studio and live project experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup and 3D Rendering Software.
