Maintenance Technician / Handyperson Location Ilfracombe Rates- £9.75 - £10.50 per hour Hours - Monday - Friday, 9.00am -3.30pm Acorn is currently recruiting for a Care Home in Ilfracombe with a requirement for a Maintenance Technician / Handyperson to carry out various tasks to maintain upkeep at site including planned and preventative maintenance. In this position duties will include:- * Promoting excellent health and safety standards internally and externally around the care home. * Responsible for the smooth operation of all services such as heating, lighting, plumbing and various equipment throughout the building and grounds. * Responsible for repair of beds and other furnishings, painting and redecoration etc. For this role, you will need to have previous experience in maintenance and be double vaccinated against Covid to to the areas of work.
