Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented, ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join a thriving Main Contractor in Potters Bar. The successful Quantity Surveyor will work on new build, design & build, and refurbishment projects from £50k - £3m across the Healthcare, Commercial, and Residential sectors. All projects are within a 25-mile radius from Potters Bar. Responsibilities include: price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project value the works and variations and agree costs with clients representative track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project measure and value the work done on site Value subcontractors work and write pay less notices etc. liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers write extension of time letters and prepare & provide supporting documentationThe Quantity Surveyor The successful Quantity Surveyor will have: Experience working with a Main Contractor or Developer A good working knowledge of MS Excel Previous experience in a surveying roleIn Return?
