Bid Manager

This reputable company specialises in the design, supply and installation of cross laminated timber and hybrid structural solutions to the construction sector both in the UK and Internationally. Operating within all sectors including residential, commercial, hospitality and education, this company have a committed client base due to the excellent service and quality of product they provide. With plans to continue gradual expansion but continue providing the same quality service they are now looking for a Bid Manager/Estimator to handle all preconstruction matters. In this role you will be based from the Central London office with the flexibility to work from home. You will work alongside the commercial manager and managing director on all preconstruction matters. You will be responsible for receiving and handling enquiries from current and new clients, creating a strategy for the pricing of projects and materials, making contact with the supply chain, liaising with internal stakeholders in relation to design, logistics and the programming of projects, dealing with follow ups from customers including bids and budgets submitted. You will need to provide a technical insight to new clients in relation to their projects and how the company can support in terms of service, design and delivery. AutoCAD knowledge is essential. Any knowledge of cross laminated timber or hybrid structural designs is advantageous but not essential.
