Gate Automation & Access Control Manager

Mech Tech Professionals is actively recruiting for a Gate Automation & Access Control Manager for our established Access control client in Mid Glamorgan. The role will be based at their head office in Caerphilly; however, this will involve travelling to locations throughout the UK where it may occasionally be required to stay overnight. Key responsibilities of the role will include: * To supervise and provide technical support to a small team of electricians * Attend site meetings * Organise materials * Organise workload * Carry out Risk assessments on automatic gates * Create and maintain Admin work – (RAMS/Technical files/quotations) * Help develop new areas of the business – CCTV & Access control * The role will also involve carrying out installations where required & fault finding on gate control systems To be considered for this role, the following experience and knowledge is essential: * Knowledge in CCTV, Access Control and Automatic gates (essential) * Previous supervisory skills (advantageous) * Good electrical technical knowledge * Ability to follow electrical schematic drawings * Knowledge of safety circuits/safety relays * Good customer skills * Good fault-finding skills * High standard of work Essential Qualifications: * DHF Auto Gate Qualification * Electrical qualifications * 18th Edition advantageous but not essential Mech Tech Professionals is operating as an Employment Agency.
