Buyer

We are recruiting for an experienced Buyer to work with an established residential developer. This is a permanent position, based in Dublin 2. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Buyer in the construction industry. Role: Procure materials, plant, and services ensuring that all activities are fully compliant with the company’s Procurement Guidelines Production of supplier price comparison data. Liaising with engineers, management, commercial department and suppliers to ensure all site resource requirements were met in line with programme. Maintenance of supplier database Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers. Assist the Commercial team with information used for claims, cost reports, forecasts, etc. Perform other duties as requested in support of the overall operation of the department An attractive salary and benefits package will be offered to the successful person
