Due to continued success in securing projects in London, we are looking for an exceptional Senior Risk Manager to join a highly successful team within a multi-disciplinary consultancy firm.
Responsibilities of the Senior Risk Manager:
Develop risk management approaches/systems for clients, incorporating best practice and procedures
Deliver risk management services in a consistent, professional manner, exceeding client expectations
Carrying out consultancy assignments in a wide range of sectors in various industries
Working within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver scope of work in line with budgetary, compliance, regulatory and planning controls
Providing bespoke advice to clients - from analysing data and working with Life Cycle models to facilitation of workshops and carrying out feasibility studies
Responsibility for the quality and commercial delivery aspects of your work and develop skills and share knowledge within the whole consulting practice
Working with colleagues on project or programme management commissions
Producing high quality technical outputs to clients, carrying out research and analysis of data
Gaining buy-in from project teams through stakeholder engagement and client meetings
Identifying and contributing to business development opportunities where appropriate
Assisting with proposal and bid development; compiling case study information for completed projectsRequirements of the Senior Risk Manager:
Relevant project delivery experience
Previous risk management responsibilities
Qualifications in risk management would be highly advantageous.
Project Management / Value Management / Programme Management qualifications
Membership of a professional body (e.g., APM, IRM, PMI)
Exposure to quantitative risk analysis (QCRA and QSRAs)
Project planning
Understanding of construction contracts
Consultancy experience
An understanding of project controls and planning techniques and tools, such as P6 and Microsoft Project
Experience in the delivery of risk management throughout the project lifecycle including support of investment decisions and delivery/implementation phases
