Agent Monthly

The role We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Agent to join our VolkerStevin team working on Civil engineering schemes. Responsibility for the delivery of the construction-phase of assigned projects or single project where a large scheme. Site Agent will provide direction to the site teams in order to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Key accountabilities Programme, health & safety, environmental and quality performance of their sites through the full construction-phase (civils and MEICA installation). Management of supply chain during construction: pre-start / progress / 360̊ performance reviews & feedback / EW / CE / PMI / programme acceptance - supported by Site Agent/Sub-Agent and commercial team. Identification of change / risk / opportunity during construction-phase and feedback to Portfolio PM for resolution. Ensure accuracy of programme updates and project forecast during construction phase. Accuracy of site cost controls. Development of improvement strategies with site management teams, communication of initiatives / good performance to the wider team. The supply of accurate information for monthly progress reporting to Portfolio PM. Liaise with Portfolio PM re: approvals and decisions at key stages. Seek approval of all major plans and authorisation of significant deviation from the plan e.g. staff discipline, unplanned cost increases, acceleration etc.Other Ground, Yet Soaring VolkerStevin is part of VolkerWessels UK, a multi-disciplinary construction and civil engineering group operating across the UK.
