Business Development Director

Business Development Director £75,000 package Hastings Full time We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Director with experience working in the Landscape and Construction sectors. Our client is a Soft Landscaping Specialist Contractor, and one of the foremost providers of soft landscaping services across London and the Southeast. They work with both private and public sector contracts, creating beautifully landscaped environments. Services for sectors include Commercial, Industrial, Community, Retail, Educational and Residential. The main purpose for the Business Development Director, will be to build, develop and execute a robust strategy for the growth of the business. Principal duties will include: To build, maintain and develop strategic approaches to build business opportunities and relationships with pre-existing and new clients Formulate and implement an account management plan to ensure that business relations are properly maintained Research emerging prospects and opportunities within landscaping Provide the Director with regular forecasts of prospective achievable projects against monthly targets Oversee the teams planning and execution of pre-award meetings, and project progress through to final account Oversee that all communications are followed up and recorded showing dates of changes and conversations as it progresses Ensure all internal communications are shared with the relevant staff, notes are updated, and any changes / developments are recorded throughout projects Oversee the completion of all relevant pre-qualification and client account management documentation, as per client requirements in line with the Quality Management system Maintain a full awareness of the marketing principles for the industry and be proactive in applying them. Adopt and maintain the company quality management processes to all areas of work The Person: 3+ years' experience in a sales, marketing, or business development role at a Senior level Management experience required UK Driving licence Knowledge of the soft landscaping industry MS Office Good, clear communication Relevant degree in Business, marketing or related field would be desirable Benefits: Salary £75,000 package Holiday: 21 days plus bank holidays Company Pension Company vehicle Mobile + laptop Onsite parking Potential growth to a hybrid working from home role
