Project Manager- civils/groundworks

Our client is a large civil engineering contractor working on projects across London and the Home Counties. Their expertise extends to groundworks, enabling works, remediation and RC Frame projects for the build and rail sectors. They are currently looking for a Project Manager with strong groundworks and civil engineering background for a long term position in the North London area. Responsibilities: * Overseeing the groundworks and enabling works of this large scale project * Ensure the redirection of utilities across the project * Oversee the piling and construction of a large scale basement * Oversee earthworks and soft landscaping on the site * Report to the Contracts Manager/Project Director on all issues and events on site * Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies * Review and troubleshoot any design issues that may arise * Delegate work to managers and supervisors across the site as different teams will be working on different projects * Ensure the project is delivered in line with the agreed program Experience/qualifications: * Degree in Civil Engineering * At least 4 years of project management experience * Strong groundworks and enabling works experience * Strong organisational skills * Good client facing skills This is an excellent opportunity on this long-term project (3 years minimum). The client are willing to offer very strong salary and package for suitable candidates and are willing to go above market rates for the right candidate
