Quantity Surveyor

A respected regional building / modular contractor with a rich pedigree of delivering new build and refurbishment projects across central and southern England are seeking one maybe two Quantity Surveyor's. Their portfolio includes work within the MOD, commercial, education, healthcare and industrial sectors. Projects generally range in value from £1.5 million up to and over £100 million 5-10 year frameworks. Responsibilities will include: - Preparing Tender and Contract documents - Preparing Bills of Quantities - Risk Management and Cost Control - Sub Contractor Work Allocation - Preparing Accurate Progress Reports and keeping accurate record of variations - Identifying risks throughout the project - Complete monthly valuations and payments and prepare detailed scope of works for sub contractors to price - CVR's Key Experience and Requirements: - 5 to 10 years Quantity Surveying experience with a contractor. - You will have experience of previously working within the same or similar role. - Degree qualified (or moving towards professional membership for example RICS, CIOB or ICE) is desireable - Modular build knowledge an advantage. - Excellent communication/ team work capability. - Computer literacy will also be essential. - The role will be reporting to the commercial manager.
