Junior Planner Location: Tottenham Salary: Circa £35k- £45k plus excellent benefits My client is a reputable contractor who provide professional construction management services to it’s clients in the property sector. They specialise in high rise residential schemes and are looking for a Junior Planner to join their growing team. Planner– Overview Creating, maintaining and reviewing a construction or pre construction programme for both tender and live projects. Producing tender programmes, method statements, phasing drawings and other support information. Producing a material and design document highlighting the durations/ lead- in periods of each supplier and how this will reflect on the construction programme. Producing up to date progress reports and forecasts for Contracts Managers along with all members of staff involved. Meeting with clients and suppliers to co-ordinate materials before the project becomes live. Alongside the Contracts Manager, you will assist in liasing with the clients ensuring that the project is running in accordance with time and budget. Attend all handover and project launch meetings from Estimating to Design and Design to Contracts. Work with design department to ensure all key materials along with design durations are included with all issued programme’s. Maintaining and adapt workload and design load programme. Provide on going support to site teams to review progress or update programmes and report as necessary. Experience using ASTA. Planner- Requirements The ideal candidate MUST be motivated, proactive and a confident individual with lots of energy and drive. You will ideally have: Experience using ASTA. 3- 5 years working on high rise apartment schemes. Understanding of key programme methods. Fully confident working with data, reports and analysis to identity issues, options and solutions Strong problem-solving skills.
