Sub Agent

Sub-Agent Civil Engineering and Water Infrastructure Hampshire & West Sussex My client is a World Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Company. They have recently been awarded a 5 year framework and are seeking reinforcements to deliver vital improvement works. They are seeking to employ, on a permanent basis an experienced Sub-Agent with a strong background in Civil Engineering and the Water Sector preferably. The successful individual will take full responsibility for the delivery of small projects in a stand-alone capacity or working with a Project Manager on a large scheme. They will be responsible for co-ordination of subcontractors and site management functions allocated by the Project Manager, during site occupancy. The Site Agent will ensure site safety is maintained in line with company standards. Ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining and maximising quality of service and profitability will be part of the role. Key Responsibilities: * To direct the necessary labour, plant, staff and equipment to achieve completion on time, to specification and within budget. * To programme works in conjunction with nominated contractor and provide short term and as built programmes as required. * Liaise with the design team to ensure the design deliverables are received in time for efficient delivery of the site works * Monitor that the Buying team and Surveying department order the correct materials and sub-contract services in good time to meet contract objectives. * Manage site teams by monitoring performance against contract targets and instigating any necessary corrective actions. * Ensure compliance with Safety Policy and Health and Safety Regulations. Ensure subcontractors comply with company Standards. Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of HNC / HND in Civil Engineering Career pathway of Engineer (setting out) to Senior / Section Engineer (supervisory and technical role) to Sub Agent to Site Agent.
