Job Description

An award-winning Main Contractor focused on delivering a variety of high rise residential, commercial and hospitality projects, both new build and refurbishment projects across central London are currently seeking an ambitious and driven M&E Manager who is solutions focused. This growing Main Contractor has a turnover of £150 million and has been successfully self-delivering the M&E aspect of its projects for the last two years. Due to the success of the division, which is guided by a high a performing M&E Director they are now looking to build their M&E team. The successful candidate can be Mechanically or Electrically biased but being well rounded in both disciplines with be advantageous. M&E Manager Key Responsibilities: * The full mechanical, electrical operational & financial process * Tender presentations * Overseeing developments through the full project life cycle * Managing & motivating the project team * Work with the construction Site Managers and advise them on all M&E aspects of the project * Work closely with the M&E Design Coordinators and Consultant Design Teams and deal with technical queries * Co-ordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions and resource * Be actively involved in the detailed review and analysis of the information received and the * co-ordination of that information * Set out project milestones and ensure they are met * Work collaboratively with the site administration team to ensure make subcontractors have up to date information on the project * Monitor M&E site progress The ideal M&E Manager Candidate will have: * A strong track record of managing the M&E package on Residential projects * 3+ years in an M&E Manager position * Good knowledge of varied M&E construction techniques and their implementation * Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment * Ability to work to tight deadlines * Strong communication skills * Excellent organisational skills and the ability to organise To apply for this role please forward your CV to the link provided or alternatively call Darren on (phone number removed)
