Abatec is assisting a highly regarded Civil Engineering contractor with the recruitment of a permanent Site Engineer. Our client delivers major civil engineering schemes across the UK which encompass highways, coastal, renewable energy and utilities projects. As Site Engineer you will Be responsible for setting out and surveying on site. Locate and mark services ahead of excavation with the use of CAT & GENNY. Check drawings and take offs for accuracy, ordering materials etc. Produce QA documentation. Resolve design/technical issues that may arise. Our client requires a Site Engineer/Manager with: Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations and GPS. A good understating of construction health & safety protocols. Excellent communication skills. HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering. Understanding of AutoCAD.
