Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor? Are you looking for a predominately office based role that will not involve hours of travelling a day? Our client are the UK’s leading supplier and installer of architectural acoustic finishes. Working with the Sales Director as part of the Financial Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of contract variations, valuations and disputes. * Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre tender and post contract matters. * Work alongside the contract team during contract negotiations. * Assist in post contract liaison with clients. * Work closely with the project management team to identify and manage variations obtaining sign off with client teams. * Preparation and submission of interim valuations * Preparing final accounts The ideal candidate will be degree calibre, RICS certification would be advantageous but is not essential. In addition to first class customer facing skills you will also possess: * Good working knowledge of forms of contract for sub-contracting. * Good working knowledge of standard methods of valuation. * Good IT skills - particularly Adobe, all Microsoft packages and CRM systems. * Excellent communication skills. * Driving licence and own transport for travel to client HQ.
