Branch Manager – Damp Proofing Job Title: Branch Manager – Timber / Waterproofing Construction Sector: Branch Manager, Basement Waterproofing, Structural Waterproofing, Liquid Applied Waterproofing, Waterproof Concrete Admixtures, Sheet Membranes, Damp Proofing, Timber, Location: Sherborne Remuneration: £35,000-£45,000 + £6,000 - £10,000 Benefits: Car Allowance & Full Benefits Package The role of the Branch Manager – Timber / Waterproofing will involve: * Branch manager position, focusing on all the day to day running of the Sherborne branch * Managing a team of 14 made up of office staff, surveyors and technicians * Holding monthly meetings with the branch sales surveyors to ensure they are meeting KPIs * Will be required to manage the full branch profit & loss * Dealing with all recruitment for the branch and initial training/inductions of new sale surveyors * Supporting the development of commercial clients * Checking over site reports ensuring standards are met * Handling any complaints and rectifying the situation in a professional manor * Developing forecasts, financial objectives and business plans * Currently 60% of projects are commercial, 40% domestic, with the average value £2,500 * Managing a small team to deliver an annual sales and profit target, the branch is currently targeted at achieving £1.2m * 50% of your time will be spent in the office, 50% out on sites supporting surveyors and technicians The ideal applicant will be a Branch Manager – Timber / Waterproofing with: * Must have management experience, ideally within the construction industry * Ideally will be from the damp proofing industry, however this isn’t essential, would consider any industry * Must have man management skills * Ideally will be from a sales background * Must be willing to gain CSTDB & CSSW qualifications * Must have a stable career Mitchell Maguire is a specialist construction field sales recruitment consultancy, dealing exclusively with construction field sales jobs, construction field sales vacancies and specification field sales positions within: Branch Manager, Basement Waterproofing, Structural Waterproofing, Liquid Applied Waterproofing, Waterproof Concrete Admixtures, Resin Injection, Concrete Remedial, Basement Pumps, Sheet Membranes, Damp Proofing
