Abatec is assisting a highly regarded Civil Engineering contractor with the recruitment of a permanent Site Engineer. Our client delivers civil engineering schemes with values up to £1.5m, which encompass highways, RC structures and utilities projects across Devon. As Site Engineer you will: Be responsible for setting out and surveying on site. Locate and mark services ahead of excavation with the use of CAT & GENNY. Check drawings and take offs for accuracy, ordering materials etc. Produce QA documentation. Resolve design/technical issues that may arise. Our client requires a Site Engineer/Manager with: Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations and GPS. A good understating of construction health & safety protocols. Excellent communication skills. HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering. Understanding of AutoCAD.
