Job Description

Are you a Steelfixer and interested in working on one of the largest critical infrastructure projects in Europe? Our client is looking for a number of Steelfixers to join them on a direct basis. (Please note - this role is not managed by the local offices. Please apply online or email your CV to (url removed)) Pay rate: £18.34 per hour basic, OT1 £27.51 and OT2 £36.68. (For example, for a 48-hour week, your first 39 hours are at £18.34, the other 9 are at £27.51, plus lodge and travel) Other Pay: paid breaks, travel to site, digs (£291.62 a week) Contract type: PAYE only Location: South West of England. You will need your own vehicle, due to the location Duration: This section of works is until 2024 Steelfixer job role: * Assemble pre-cut and pre-bent rebars and meshes to form cages * Working a typical 48-hour week, which could include evenings, nights and weekends Successful applicants will need: * CSCS blue card / NVQ * Proven previous experience working as a Steelfixer * Experience of carrying out rebar and mesh installation * Ability to read drawings Benefits include: * PAYE permanent contract and long-term work * 29 days paid holiday a year * Bonus scheme * Fantastic overtime rates If you are an experienced Steelfixer, we look forward to receiving your application.
